His response prompted by my sorrow after reading Mark 14.
Jesus said, "My sheep hear My voice..." John 10:27
It was My great joy to hang on that cross as a sacrifice for all of mankind. The flesh aspect of My day felt the pain and suffering, but the Godhead aspect of My day rejoiced in the victory over the enemy's plans and the flinging open of the gates of eternity for all who would choose to enter in."
"Mankind's only pain now would be that of humility - the pain of putting self to death to enter into the eternal bliss with unbroken unity with My father and Me in Heaven. I paid the high price of pain and suffering. I was the sacrifice once, and for all. I opened the way. My blood was shed, My body broken so that all mankind needed [and needs] to do is humble Himself, accept My payment for His sin, and enter into the family of God."
"Rejoice, you who have accepted the sacrifice made for you. You are greatly loved and the best is yet to come. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad for the Lord has highly favored you and made great sacrifice for your eternal good. Open wide your arms and receive all that the father has prepared for you.
