When Troubles Come
"When troubles come, turn to your loving Lord first. I am for you. The waves you experience in the midst of the storm are not the root of the problem. Look to Me for the revealing of the root of the problem [which is] causing the waves. You MUST acknowledge the root to still the waves. Ask Me to reveal the reason for the waves. I know."
"It is My desire to help you to the victory, not to take pleasure in your struggle. Turn to ME, Child. I will take you by your right hand and help you overcome the attacks of the enemy. His agenda is to kill, steal, or destroy where you provide an entry."
"Resist the lies meant to overwhelm and confuse you. Resist, I say. I am your strong tower and place of refuge. Your enemy is relentless. His aim is to wear you down until you give up or forget the power of your Helper - Holy Spirit. Again, I say, resist the lies and temptations to despair. You were not created for despair. You were created to overcome the subtle efforts of the enemy."
