Where's Your Hope Rooted?

"Make sure you are finding your hope in Me, Child. The world offers repeated disappointments, let-downs, and shallow promises. My promises are always for your good. I am not like a man who would build your hope just to, then, let you down."

"Make sure you do not out-step Me. Stay in step with Me. Stay connected by praying and listening. Do not let your expectations keep Me limited. I am a creator. I plan for your good. Rushing ahead of My plans will, indeed, bring you disappointments."

"Listen and obey. Keep the faith. I am faithful and true. My love for you prompts My mercy to flow toward you. Mercy, My mercy, is intentional. It is not on a whim. I am for you, Child. Stop and remember My past goodness to you. I am the same yesterday, today, and forever. I am with you. I am for you. I am your greatest encourager. Do not discount My goodness toward you. Turn to Me. Trust Me. Take up your cross and follow Me. Watch Me use you to impact those around you."

"I do not expect perfection according to the world's standards. I see your heart and the hearts of others. I know your intentions and your struggles. I am full of compassion and forgiveness.
