Set us free from our own created bondages.
Many are the ways You reach out to Your people! You reach out in part with love, mercy, and kindness. You call us by name and often receive no response to Your goodness.
Forgive us, Lord, for the hardness in our hearts that make us oblivious to Your loving kindness. We need You, Lord. Don't leave us helpless. We need You.
Open our eyes to see Your wonderful deeds towards the children of men. Show us Your glory. Give us the grace to walk in Your glory, under Your glory. Bring us to our knees before Your majesty. Let us humbly receive from Your hand the treasures You want to bestow upon Your children. Oh, God, let us be hungry and thirsty for Your presence.
Let us be always aware of Your desire to be found by us. Have mercy, Lord, and open our hearts, our minds, our eyes, our ears, our whole being to receive all that You have planned. Let us "see the more" that you have in store and delight in giving to Your loved ones.
Your arms are open wide to give to us and to receive us as we come to the awareness of Your presence. Come, Lord Jesus, and bring us out of our own created bondages. Set us free as we call upon You and trust in You. We need You, Lord! Come and rescue us. Amen! (07/08/2020)
