Get up and serve the Lord today.
Heavenly Father,
The bells ring out. Their tolling draws people's attention to a message You have to deliver. They hear and are alerted, but they don't know to what. They don't seek to find the reason. It seems just another tolling of the bells. They don't understand the message.
Wake up Your people, Lord. Wake us up to the message: to prepare for Your soon return. Give wisdom to us. Give us eyes to see and ears to hear. Wake us up to the lateness of the hour. Draw us into Your love - deeper and deeper. Give us the overflow necessary to impact lives for Your kingdom's sake and the sake of others.
Move on our hearts, Lord and make us aware of Your soon return and the assignments you have for each of us - for me! Come, Lord Jesus. Come, Lord Jesus. We watch with great anticipation. Keep our eyes and ears open and keenly attuned to Your voice. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen. (07/21/2019)
